CES Easter Egg Hunt

Dan's squadron held an Easter Egg Hunt this morning and even though he TDY'd this morning, I knew the kids wanted to go so we went. Unfortunately these are the only shots I got because it started pouring rain shortly afterwards. Oh well, at least the kids had fun!

Such Love

One thing I'm grateful for is how much my kiddos love each other. They are so good to each other and always want to sit next to each other and play together. They do fight with each other every once in a while but are quick to say "sorry" and give lovin'!

Painting Outside

We had an amazing warm spring day and spent almost all day outside. The kids played and Dan and I sat and enjoyed the sun. Kristian has been asking to paint so I decided it was as good a time as any and painting outside makes less mess for me to clean up! (Always an added bonus!) The kids had so much fun and Dan was able to get some great pictures.

Happy St Patty's Day!

Of course we all wore green but I wish I would have gotten a pic of Eliza before she stripped, lol! I made my 1st ever corned beef dinner for St Patty's Day! I was very proud of myself and Dan was a big helper in the process! Next year I'm gonna get an early start and actually do it in the Slow Cooker like I originally intended.

Getting Out The Backyarrd Toys!

Throughout the past year we have aquired quite a few outdoor toys since I feel the kids are going to be at a good age this summer to spend a lot of time outside. The weather was decent enough (for Germany in March, lol) that we decided to play outside. The kids had a blast and I had to bribe them with a movie to come inside after almost 2 hours! I can't wait until it's warm enough to get the baby pool out there, too!

She's Still My Baby

As long as she sleeps with her feet tucked in and her booty in the air I can still get away with calling her my baby! I just love when I peek in on her while she's sleeping and she's like this, it really makes my heart melt.

Cupcakes for Kristian's Class

We brought in cupcakes for Kristian's birthday to his class. Kristian gotto sit at the head of the table and they sang the American and German birthday songs to him. Of course Kristian was Mr Popular with all the kids for the cupcakes especially since they were topped with M&M's & Kit-Kats (The Kit-Kats were Dan's idea not mine).

Birthday Bowling

Kristian loves going bowling so that's what we did for his birthday. We invited a couple friends out with us and they completely spoiled Kristian and Eliza with presents! (They didn't want to have Eliza feel left out)We had a great time and the kids had a blast! We've definitely got to do this more often!

Birthday Presents

Since Daddy wasn't home for Kristian's birthday, Kristian patiently waited until the next day to open his presents (he has more will power than me, that's for sure). We let him just have at and worried about cleaning up until after everything was opened!

Happy 4th Birthday Kristian

I cannot believe you are 4 today, it seems not that long ago that you came into our world. Daddy and I were so ecstatic when we found out we were pregnant with you since we had been trying for quite some time. I don't think I had ever been as happy as I was the day you were born, you were absolutely perfect. You have grown into such a little man and make me so proud to be your mommy. Thank you so much for all the joy you bring to my life. I love you, buddy!

Kristian's 1st Big Owie

We got a call from the German Kindergarten that Kristian had an "accident" and to come get him. I thought it unusual because he has a change of clothes in his backpack and they usually don't call for that. Dan went over to pick him up and I met them at the front door to see Kristian with a good sized gash on the side of his left eye. Dan took Kristian to the ER and he got bandaged up (no stitches) and has been such a brave boy about the whole ordeal. He's actually handling it better than I am. I am so glad it wasn't worse and am so proud of my brave boy.

Eliza's 2 1/2 Year Pictures

I decided to try my hand at taking pictures by doing Eliza's 2 1/2 year pics myself. This way I am bettering my skill and saving money at the same time! I took her across the street to the playground of the Dudeldorf Kindergarten and did my best! She did well up until the end and my battery died at the same time she decided she was done so I'm happy we got some good shots in! Enjoy pictures of my little princess.
